so the joke is that ytmnd users insist they are funny but they are wrong. they are not funny. or, it could mean that ytmnd is funny to a ytmnd user, but when someone who is not familiar with ytmnd watches a site joke, they don't understand it so it's not funny to them. Whoopi Goldberg (Goldberg!) represents ytmnd. data the android represents a normal person because like a normal person, data is not familiar with Goldberg's jokes (see what i did there?).
