yeah, upon hearing the Chinese government's stance on Tibet years ago, I had to reexamine my opinions: they consider it a theocratic absolute monarchy. at that, Chinese expansionist policies and hypocrisy aside, you have to concede their point. then, I'm not sure that I understand any distinction between conquering and liberating anymore, not until this whole "free will" debate gets finally settled...
