That old fashioned Jingoism
Created on: July 3rd, 2010
A little Sentimental Jingoism on the 4th of July, offered as a salve for true red blooded American hearts. What this country needs is a good clean battleship fight, I think.

My favorite genre is classical, so I guess I am on a quixotic personal mission to represent "not-electronica" on YTMND and bring balance back to the force. "Teddy and Alice" is, BTW a pretty terrible musical about an incestuous relationship between T.R. and his daughter. Still, there are two numbers sung to Sousa marches that are (IMHO) well written and especially well sung by the tenor ... the structure of the marches were not exactly meant to be put to lyrics.
