Well... sort of. Jay Leno does have this unfair upper hand in that he is the producer of his own show. Conan gets only minor producer credits on The Tonight show. Basically, Conan had more control of his old show than his new show. Jay Leno in turn has more control of his new show than his old show. It'd be alot easier for Jay, with all his money and connections to move networks, like he joked about, than it would be for conan. Jay Leno owns the Jay Leno show, Conan does not own either show he hosted.
