When I saw that, I was thinking of the Breencasts in Half-Life 2. But I can see the message you are trying to get through to the viewer.
It's true that some Christianity sects have these infomercials to buy prayers and get healed or whatever. The people who buy these stuff obviously are either really devoted, or really dumb.
Ok. Everybody hate on consumerism. But communism didn't really work out now did it? The funny thing is you take for granted all the benefits you reap from a capitalist economic systems. (your grubby hands typing on a keyboard on a computer is evidence) Sure it has problems, but show me a perfect world.
If it brings you peace to go the way of consumerism, you may take that path and fulfill materialistic desires until you no longer wish to do so. Then you may take whatever other path or continue on the path you are on. Walk the paths which you know in your heart to be the most sensible and you will find contentment.
