Originally I was just going to use the "there are many copies" image for an image macro, but then I decided to try and remake the entire opening sequence. I really like how it turned out.

No, you're downvoting because it's Anime. I can understand if you don't like it, but the humor at least makes sense. Of course, this YTMND does have a bit of obscure intertextuality to it. If you don't get the cross reference between Battlestar Galactica and Azumanga Dioh then this really wouldn't be very funny at all.
The point remains, however, that your assessment of my work is incorrect.
