I Need .gif Animation Help

  I have ImageReady, but I haven't gotten anything from their Help section and was hoping you people out there in cyber-land could give me a hand.

   imo the best way is to play the vid in whatever program you want, pause & step through frames, and screenshot the frames you want. if you find a program that will convert a mpg or other movie to gif, it'll take every frame- you won't need every frame. and even if you can set it to use only a certian frame rate, you will most likely get frames you didn't want/need. using pause/screenshot, you can get only the frames you want. good luck bro!
