   Actually, there are such jellyfish that can attain such a size, so I would not assume so quickly that its a fake, it might be, but it might not.
From Wikipedia: Lion's mane jellyfish. Although capable of attaining a bell diameter of 2.5 metres (8 feet), these jellyfish are highly variable in size.
