the single process may be easier (although creating a file could be done by illiterate grandma) but having a file to click after typing out a single line is much easier, no?

Basically you ping their server nonstop, you send them information packages and the server returns them. If many people do this at once it can cause the server to block up and stop responding.

^ Probably ping.exe is being blocked by your firewall. You have to give it permission to access the internets.

This, my friends, is what t3h 1nt3rn37 h4x0rz call a "D D o S." Stands for Distributed Denial of Service. It's distributed in this case, because we're ALL pinging it at once. This will cause SO MUCH TRAFFIC, that the site can't handle regular packets,

I find it hard to believe that this is doing much, but I've got at least... close to 20 windows up and running... I'm thinking of turning on my Dell PowerEdge server and making it do it now, I bet I could run at least 40 of them.
