The Nazi regime did use the swastika with branches to the right (among other symbols, with the swastika being most prevalent) but it's still a swastika regardless of which direction it's facing in. Also, it doesn't represent friendship. The swastika was (is) a holy symbol representing the sun, and sometimes infinity.
