SW Lasers > ST Phasers. They have so much power they're turned into solid projectiles using a mass/energy equation. ISD > Enterprise, it's a warship not a flimsy exploration craft. Also, Star Destroyers have dozens of fighter squadrons and support craft, Enterprise only has a few shuttles.
The Galactic Empire has LOADS of superweapons and can easily render planets uninhabitable. Tattooine wasn't always a desert planet.

Galactic Empire rules most of the galaxy with an iron fist, garrisons on every planet and a FREAKING HUGE FLEET in ROTJ. Jedi PWN with almost omnipenetrative lightsabers and the force. Also, Twi'Leks are hotter than Orions. Even Locutus of Borg couldn't defend against the full might of the Death Star, Death Star II, Super Star Destroyers, The Eye of Palpatine, Devastators or the Sun Crusher.
And, hell, by now, the Star Wars galaxy is much more advanced, even long, long ago they had much better stuff.
Hey, the Empire went to hell when the Emperor died. Sure, they're still around, but now, the Empire is weak and sucks ass. The Federation, despite almost getting their heads handed tothem in the Dominion War, are still top dogs in the alpha quadrant. The Federation hasn't crumbled, and is still alive, therefore Star Trek wins by default.

Dude, it's gotta be Star Wars. The Federation is not a war machine, and wants to be peaceful. The Empire is dedicated to cutting the balls off of every f*cker who gets in their way. Death Star+Death Star 2+ Han Solo+ Chewie+ Yoda+ every other thing in the Star Wars Univers VS. The Borg+Q+ ummm...nothing. STAR WARS! FOR THE EMPIRE!

They have thousands of ISD's, two death stars, 7 super star destroyers, lightsabers, the force, jedis and sith, and not to mention the entire rebel fleet, the Sun scorcher, the star forge, the republic fleet, the sith fleet, oh and HAN SOLO. While Star Trek has the enterprise, the borgs, and phasers. Personally, I think Trek would win. Enterprise comes in at Warp 9 (FTL travel FTW!), drops out of warp long enough to deposit, via transporter, a few photon torpedoes in the main reactor/engine/whatever of whatever Empire ship they're attacking, and blast off at Warp 9 before they blow. The only thing preventing them from doing that regularly is the development of shield technology as an effective barrier to transporters. Oh, and antimatter mines FTW.
I can't beleive im actually debating this...
You all are fools. I like both Wars and Trek, but seriously... the Enterprise could not even scratch the paint on a Star Destroyer. A photon torpedo, at BEST, does about as much damage as a concussion missile, which a ISD can take 100 or so of. Not to mention the fact that the Death Star can destroy an entire planet in one shot - nothing in the Trek arsenal comes close to that kind of firepower. Theres also simply the sheer numbers of over a thousand
