i dont get how you can vomit at these war heros, who died for mine and your freedom, lets see you jump off a landing craft into MG42 machine gun fire, mortors, landmines, artillary, tanks, snipers, small arms fire, and your buddys having their body parts blown off and thrown all over you because they chose to zig instead of zag and stepped on the hugt AT Telemar mine 5 yards infront of you that you your self would have stepped on if he had not done it first, this guy was your best friend.
politics ya, but respect them for the sacrifice they did make, support them for the sacrifce they are making. trying to improve the lives in the countrys they are in. ya they went in for f*cked up reasons, but they still deserve our support no matter what. believe it or not we are making a difference in the lives of the people in afghanistan and Iraq. and not just a difference from the peace they say on the news they had to the violence they are living now. but actually good differneces.
Anyone who downvotes this is a traitor and should be shot. These men died to protect what we hold sacred and all too many take for granted: Freedom. Its not about politics, its about protecting your sorry-ass lives and providing freedom for those who live in oppression worldwide. God bless America and those who fight and die to preserve it.
I give salute every single soldier in those graves. May their journey to the other side be a peaceful one. As for the jokesters here, I hope you feel good about defiling the spirit of these men who have passed on for you. These men may have fought in the Revolution, or over in Europe. They may have walked through the jungles of Korea or in the deserts of Iraq. No matter when or where they were, they are still heroes. I suggest all you Isolationists take a look at how avoiding the problem never solves it.
The funny part about people making fun of dead soldiers is they can only do it because of those soliders. They died defending everyones right to say what they want to say, they died so people would have the right to insult them. Thats the thing some people will never understand. Most people don't know how good they have it in the USA.
glamador: "This isn't funny at all....why did you do this to my MIND!? Ah well, they
brought it on themselves for going to war." ----You think these soldiers went to war knowing they would come home? F UCK NO! its a little something called bravery and honor you piece of worthless sh it. It really makes me wonder why i wanted to fight for my country when it is filled with people like you. Why dont you enlist and see what its like you pussies, wait i know why you dont...you would rather sit on your ass
If you think that all the wars America has fought in have secured freedom for the country, you're f*cking delusional. All they secured is exorbitant amounts of money for mutually supportive politicians and corporate scum. Stop trying to justify these deaths. The Second World War is only partially an exception.

Stop acting like every soldier that dies died defending America. The only ones who have died to protect freedom are those who fought for our independance from England and those who stopped the threats of Germany and Japan nearly a century ago. The guys dying in Iraq right now are not defending our freedom. What threat does Iraq produce agaisnt us? There is no proof that they were involved in 9/11, Bin Laden, or WMD's. We are only there for their "freedom" by imposing our kind of government onto them.
I think this is a wonderful memorial... it's sad that all these people are ignorant enough to spit on the graves of these soldiers because of personal hatred for the president. It's heartbreaking to imagine the families of these men missing their sons, brothers and fathers this christmas. Come on guys, have a heart.

Atleast somebody has a f*cking brain.
Ok, those of you saying its disrespectful to the soldiers because of the nature of YTMND need to step back, because while some of the users on here can be goofy, this site shows that a vast majority of them are good enough people to be able to take a minute to salute those men and women who are true heroes and gave everything up for us, people who they never met and never will met.
And for those of you who are like "they threw their lives away for politics" and other horrible sh*t, like others have said, and I will repeat-Those men fought to protect your right to say disrespectful sh*t like that and you should think twice before you criticize men who gave everything and who were doing their job and have to go where they are told. I doubt half of you would have the guts to do what our soliders do on a daily basis. Even if you disagree with the war(even I do in fact), show some respect
Paleeoguy did not create this YTMND to be insulting or funny, he made it so that everyone who visits it will remember to pay their respects to those who have fallen to preserve this nation. That is why I FAVed it. You Liberal F*cktards never pay your respects; instead, you spit on their graves and hold protests at the funerals of fallen soldiers. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
You guys realize that Iraq isn't the only war in American history, right? 99.9% of those buried in Arlington were casualties from other wars, so stop talking politics, idiots. If you would like to trivialize the sacrifice these people made throughout American history, then you aren't mature enough to understand it.
Too bad you traitorous *ssh*les weren't born forty or more years ago; back then, you would either be dead or rotting in jail now for such actions. People from my family have proudly fought in every war of the 20th century and we continue to do so to this day. Beyond that I'm not certain, but branches of my family have been here since the 1700s. The ninth layer of Hell is reserved for you traitorous people...have fun.
All you little pinko kids out there who are bashing this site: go back to making your 1-star pieces of crap. Not everything on this site has to be funny. And bashing soldiers who "threw their lives away" is pretty dumb coming from people who are wasting their lives sitting in front of a computer all day long. Yeah, I'm sitting in front of one right now, but I'm not bashing soldiers for "dying for nothing", you little bitches.
The last war defending American rights was WWII. All the wars after that were fought for some bullsh*t cause like trying to stop communism or for no good reason at all, like in Iraq today. Regardless of what war they died in soldiers deserve the same respect you would give any dead person. Don't hate the soldiers, hate the f*cked up government that put them in the ground for no reason.
You all casually make the basless assumption that everyone is referring the latest Iraq War. No. It's been the same thing, to varying degrees, through almost all wars this country has fought in. YOU f*ckups are the ones spitting on the soldiers' graves, spouting all this bullsh*t about dying for freedom, as if that's what the men who fought wanted. They deserve more respect than that.
If you want a short list of wars that had little to nothing to do with preserving America's freedom, then there's the War of 1812, Mexican War, Indian Wars, Spanish-American War, World War I, the Korean War, Vietnam War, Afghanistan War, and Iraq War. These men died either unwillingly or unaware that they were mostly just supporting a cartel. You can't just say "they died for freedom!", and move on. It's a f*cking injustice. Try to suppress your nationalistic tendancies, and you'll be less of a tool.
I may not give a hoot about the whole, glorification of the army... But consider most of these soldiers fought in WWII. Many were drafted and even volunteered to protect, not just the freedoms of "AMERIKKA", our country, but people they didn't even know across seas, the oppressed, imprisoned and mistreated, and also their fellow soldiers, giving their lives to do this. At first I saw this and had the "not funny" reaction. Then I thought a bit, beautiful picture to share, and perfect song to match.
There's a difference between honouring the soldiers from all over the world who sacrificed all to stop a genocidal maniac in WW2, and honouring soldiers period. While it may be true that the US military has degenerated to a band of ill-directed thugs (which, really, is no fault of the individual soldiers), in the early 1940s, those men and their leaders had their heads, and hearts, in the right place. We owe them our world.
The intention is well, but this type of thing just doesn't belong on ytmnd, and you did nothing but grab an image from google, you didn't even make the title yourself. (google image "arlington national cemetery christmas" and click the first link) My vote in no way represents my respect for those men however, my uncle served in WWII and has a metal plate in his head as a result of it.
