Kamui it isn't quite so black and white. The idea that man knows all at the current time is a bit presumptuous. However, Christianity is full of holes and superhuman activities. Some if not all of this can be attributed to scribes who felt the need to add in grandiose acts to make the religion seem more awesome. If you want the real deal, cut all the miracles out and read it, like Jefferson did.
This is why, even growing up in a chatholic school, I never felt completely at home with christianity. It seems obviouse what happend with Jesus, he was the leader of a common personality cult whose leader was assasinated. Then his closest followers, faced with the notion of their sub-culture disapearing, invented the notion that he surived, so that their society could surive. For him to have been god, he must have wanted his execution to have happened.
