actually it would make sense. even if you've seen the X3 movie. They had 'the cure' and were able to bottle it. you think those all mutants can be cured just like that? lol not. so, i guess he was able to put this 'cure' into the bug to craw on his opponent and bite him to disable his mutant powers.
