   Regardless of number, the fact of the matter is that the Islamic fundamentalists are a lot like the Crusaders they despise.  Both are irrational, religious, anti-jewish, backward *ssh*les who kill civilians for bullsh*t reasons. The contemporary west and the 11th-14thcentury middle east were (relatively) modern, cosmopolitan, tolerant places that contributed to scientific progress.
