When Voice of Korea doesn't show up..... (7.220 MHz)
Created on: 1 day ago

Back on the 5th of this month (9/2025) the North Korean "Voice of Korea" shortwave station didn't fire up, so the lower sideband amateur radio guys on the West Coast just talked over the empty frequency (7220 kHz or 7.220 MHz). Many times they just do that anyway when the station is there, because the frequency falls into the 40 meter ham band.
