First Impressions of YTMND [FINAL]

I've only been on YTMND for a few days. This is my first impression of YTMND.

Featured users seem to have lower ratings than their typical sites did before that section was created. It seems now most are holding them to an even higher standard than before or voting unfairly due to jealousy or some other stupid reasoning. Also if you make more sites like this as opposed to posting every picture you come across that would be great.
I'm not saying anything about it being a community but I've noticed that a lot of decent material gets voted on improperly both ways because of that pink name. What I'm saying is that because of the color of the name some users are held to higher standards and others to lower standards. Basically if you're name is pink the vote you're getting is from someone who is completely sober otherwise you're beer goggling the site or vice versa depending on your opinion on featured users.
boohooo. cry me a f*cking river for the pinks. oh no! they are held to a higher standard by some users. what you forgot to mention is that they have their own, separate front page list that guarantees their work gets viewed (instead of a 5 minute window on RC) which gives them a HUGE edge in getting into U&C and more likely even into Top Viewed. Yeah, the pinks have it so bad. What was I thinking..
However, please do yourself a favor and throw your feelings about ratings out the window. They are largely pointless here, where the general public tend to only upvote generic fad sites, stolen content, and as you already found out...sites about boobs. People create massive amounts of alternate accounts just to upvote their own sites and downvote others they don't like...or those with which they are in competition. It's one big, retarded mess. Just make the sites you like and stop worrying about ratings.
I don't think everyone treats you like a douche just because they hate you. They treat you like a douche because you act like a douche. My first few ytmnds got ran into the ground, despite the fact that I worked really hard on them. A lot of them still do, but occasionally I'll get lucky and my sites will make the U&C. Do I bitch when leet-shoe or n4rvst downvote? Sure, but I'm just going to twiddle my thumbs until they get banned. When people give me 1s for legit reasons, rather than complaining and making
a self-righteous ytmnd about it, I'm wondering to myself 'what did *I* do wrong? How can I entertain or provoke YTMND users into voting higher for my sites?' I diagnose the problem, then I try to make my ytmnds better. I don't blame fat nerds, troll heads, or guys with their asses hanging out for voting me down. And I most definitely don't f*cking accuse pink users of getting upvoted because of pink status. Hell, I'm more critical of pink users than I am of you or other normal users.
Bottom-line: you're busy making sites about boobs to appeal to people on their base level, because you want to be the victim in this situation and want the easy out. I'm looking for ways to keep my style on track and still please viewers. Bottom-line part 2: you seem to have caught people's eye with your skill for animation and darker humor as well as a biting wit. How about pursuing that rather than taking someone elses image and posting it to a sound?
I like the stuff. Several of my sites have been stolen in the past, sometimes months after I submit them, only for the theif to get in the top ten. doesn't help saying anything, even with the dates proving my point, it's like arguing with a fetus. There's a lot of total crap in the featured user box, and a lot of good stuff that gets overlooked. I think that the Worthwile box should get more exposure. Because even a user with 5 top ten sites will most likely have a few terrible ones.
totally. after i saw this i looked at what you were posting and getting upset about, and I cant see where you got the right to complain. its amazing though that getting frustrated over the negative reaction to your other sites is what inspired you to put together this (message aside) funny and well presented site.
BTape - you're slightly mistaken. I never really cared what anyone thought about the 4chan boobie one. Its all good though. People's opinions on that one are all over the place. I'd put the creator's address and phone number on there if I could but I couldn't remember who it was. I saved it a while ago. I just wanted to make a boobie ytmnd :/
